Monkeywrench Records/Republic Records Pearl Jam has premiered the first single from the band’s upcoming album, Gigaton.
The new cut is titled “Dance of the Clairvoyants,” which you can download now via digital outlets. Fittingly, the track has a rather dance-y beat, which plays under Eddie Vedder‘s David Byrne-esque yelping.
“‘Dance’ was a perfect storm of experimentation and real collaboration,” says bassist Jeff Ament. “We’ve opened some new doors creatively and that’s exciting.”
Gigaton, Pearl Jam’s 11th studio album, arrives March 27. It’s the follow-up to 2013’s Lightning Bolt.
In support of the new record, Pearl Jam will launch a North American tour this spring starting March 18 in Toronto.
