Credit: Nick FancherBeartooth is releasing a charity t-shirt in honor of the late NBA star Kobe Bryant, who died Sunday in a helicopter crash alongside his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven other people.
The shirt features Beartooth’s logo in purple and gold, the colors of Bryant’s basketball team, the Los Angeles Lakers.
“Growing up, we were all fans of Kobe Bryant,” the band says in a statement. “Last week’s tragedies [affected] so many people, us included.”
The statement continues, “To honor the legacy of not only Kobe, his daughter Gianna, but all those who lost their lives, we’re releasing this very special limited edition shirt where we’ll donate 100% of the profits to the #MambaonThree Fund, which will help support the families affectedby this horrific tragedy.”
