The Smashing Pumpkins are opening a run of dates on Guns N’ Roses‘ upcoming summer North American tour. Corgan and company will join the trek starting July 8 in Philadelphia, and will stay on for shows taking place July 11 in Detroit; July 13 in Toronto; July 16 in Washington, D.C.; July 18 in East Rutherford, New Jersey; and July 21 in Boston.

Of course, both Guns N’ Roses and The Smashing Pumpkins have recently staged high-profile reunions: Axl Rose welcomed Slash and Duff McKagan back into GN’R in 2016, while James Iha rejoined Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin in The Pumpkins in 2018.
