Kirk Hammett & Robert Trujillo’s cover band side project announces South Carolina show

Per Ole Hagen/RedfernsMetallica‘s Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo have announced a new show with their cover band side project, The Wedding Band.

The group, which made their debut last summer in Toronto, will perform at The Senate club in Columbia, South Carolina, on Sunday, March 8. Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 14, at 10 a.m. ET via TheSenateColumbia.com.

Along with the Metallica duo, The Wedding Band’s lineup will consist of Queens of the Stone Age and The Mars Volta drummer Jon Theodore, Bad Wolves guitarist Doc Coyle and Ugly Kid Joe vocalist Whitfield Crane.

If you’re in South Carolina to see the show, you can also check out Hammett’s It’s Alive! exhibit at The Columbia Museum of Art, which is displaying his collection of classic horror and sci-fi film artwork.
