Def Leppard is pouring some sugar on their already exciting 2020 plans by announcing a 16-date joint U.S. fall tour with ZZ Top.
The 20/20 Vision Tour kicks off on September 21 in Albany, New York, and is mapped out through an October 18 show in Spokane, Washington. The outing will follow Def Leppard's massive summer package trek, The Stadium Tour, which features the newly reunited Motley Crue, as well as Poison and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts.
Tickets for Def Leppard and ZZ Top's fall tour go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 21, at 10 a.m. local time via LiveNation.com.
Pre-sale tickets will be available to Citi card members beginning Tuesday, February 18, at 10 a.m. local time through the credit-card company's Citi Entertainment program: Visit CitiEntertainment.com for more details.
Def Leppard's Joe Elliott says of his band's 2020 tour plans, "What a year this is going to be! First, sold out stadiums, then we get to go on tour with the mighty ZZ Top! Having been an admirer of the band for a lifetime it's gonna be a real pleasure to finally do some shows together...maybe some of us will get to go for a spin with [ZZ Top's] Billy [Gibbons] in one of those fancy cars."
Adds Gibbons, "We're excited about hitting the road with Def Leppard this fall; we've been fans of theirs since forever…Joe Elliott is always welcome to ride 'shotgun' with us and we won't even ask him to pay for the gas."
As previously reported, The Stadium Tour runs from a June 18 concert in Jacksonville, Florida, through a September 5 show in Inglewood, California.
