Hatebreed drops new single, “When the Blade Drops”

Nuclear BlastWhat better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with new music from Hatebreed?

The Connecticut metallers have premiered a fresh track called “When the Blade Drops,” which you can download now via digital outlets. It’s the first new Hatebreed to follow the band’s 2016 album, The Concrete Confessional.

“This is just a taste of what’s to come and we’re definitely going hard on this one,” says frontman Jamey Jasta. “The speed, intensity, and brutality that people have come to expect from us is on full display. Can’t wait to play this one live and see the pit erupt.”

A new Hatebreed album is due out later this year.

While we wait for that, you can also listen to Jasta’s The Lost Chapters, Vol. 2 solo album, which dropped last December. It includes guest appearances by current and former Killswitch Engage vocalists Jesse Leach and Howard Jones, and Trivium’s Matthew Heafy.
