Credit: Greg WatermannWe may not have a new System of a Down album, but can we interest you in Serj Tankian and John Dolmayan covering David Bowie?

The pair has teamed up to put their spin on the late rock icon’s 1972 classic “Starman.” You can download the cover now via digital outlets.

The System duo’s version of “Starman” appears on Dolmayan’s These Grey Men covers album, due out February 28.

These Grey Men also includes the previously released cover of Radiohead’s “Street Spirit,” featuring Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello and Avenged Sevenfold frontman M. Shadows, plus new takes on songs by AFI, Two Door Cinema Club, Eminem and Madonna. Tankian also lends his vocals to a cover of “Road to Nowhere,” by Talking Heads.

As for System, the wait for a follow-up to 2005’s Mezmerize and Hypnotize continues, but the band is headlining two giant stadium shows in Los Angeles this May. The bill also includes Korn, Faith No More, Helmet and Russian Circles.
