ABC/Image Group LAOzzy Osbourne is channeling his inner Willy Wonka with his newly launched Golden Ticket Sweepstakes.
In the U.S., physical copies of the metal icon’s new album Ordinary Man include a special code inside. If you enter that code at OrdinaryManSweepstakes.com, you may win a unique Ozzy prize, such as a Blizzard of Ozz platinum plaque or a guitar signed by the Prince of Darkness himself.
The grand prize, though, is a trip to Los Angeles to have dinner with Ozzy and his wife, Sharon Osbourne.
Ordinary Man, the follow-up to 2010’s Scream, was released today. It was recorded with Red Hot Chili Peppers’ drummer Chad Smith and Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan, and features guest appearances from Slash, Tom Morello, Elton John and Post Malone.
To celebrate the album’s release, Ozzy is hosting an in-store at Amoeba Records in Hollywood, California tonight at 5 p.m. PT. According to a tweet from Amoeba that went out at 9:08 a.m. PT, the line for the event already exceeds the amount of tickets available, and the store is advising prospective attendees that aren’t already in line to stay home.
