Roadrunner RecordsIt appears Jerry Cantrell is working on new music.
The Alice in Chains vocalist/guitarist shared a photo from the recording studio on his Instagram. “It’s time to make the Raawwwkkk!!!” he wrote in the caption.
Presumably, Cantrell is recording new solo songs. Speaking to reporters at the NAAM music-equipment trade show earlier this year, Cantrell said that he plans on “doing something on my own this year.”
Cantrell hasn’t released a full solo album since 2002’s Degradation Trip. He’s since done a couple of one-off singles, including “A Job to Do” for the John Wick: Chapter 2 soundtrack.
Alice in Chains’ most recent album is 2018’s Rainier Fog.
