Stay “Home Sweet Home” with Mötley Crüe’s new video

Credit: Paul BrownMötley Crüe wants you to stay “Home Sweet Home” amid the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

The L.A. metallers have shared a new lyric video for their 1985 power ballad to encourage fans to stay indoors in an effort to slow the spread of the disease. The updated clip also includes footage from the Crüe’s 2019 biopic, The Dirt.

“We’re ALL in this together,” the band says. “Please follow the guidelines in your area. A short time of social distancing will mean we sort this out ASAP. Stay safe out there and make sure to wash your hands and most importantly Stay Home Sweet Home.”

This summer, Mötley Crüe is scheduled to launch their first tour since playing what was billed as their “final” show on New Year’s Eve 2015. The trek also includes Def LeppardPoison and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts on the bill. So far, the tour hasn’t been affected by COVID-19.
