Tool postponing first leg of spring tour

Credit: Travis ShinnTool is postponing the first leg of the band’s spring U.S. tour due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

The affected shows run from April 16 in Miami to May 5 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. New dates will be announced “as soon as possible.”

The second leg of the tour is scheduled to begin May 29 in Tacoma, Washington, and so far is still a go.

Tool previously postponed a batch of dates in March due to COVID-19. The band was also included on the list of acts affected by Live Nation’s plan to postpone all of its tour dates in March, as reported by Billboard.
