grandson teases upcoming debut album filled with his "hardest hitting music"

In an Instagram post, the “Blood//Water” rocker teases that his upcoming first full-length effort will be filled with his “hardest hitting music yet.”

As for when we’ll get to hear the record, which will follow the A Modern Tragedy EP trilogy, grandson says it’s “on the way.”

In the meantime, grandson is also working on tunes for his ongoing, acoustic, collaborative XXwhyseries, which has so far included the song “Peaches,” with K.Flay, and “Whole Lotta” with Dreamers. The series began earlier this year, but grandson feels it’s now taken on a new meaning amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We had no idea any of this would happen and all of our lives would change in the blink of an eye,” grandson says. “I have gravitated to the messages of acceptance in ‘Peaches’ and ‘Whole Lotta’ now more than ever as a matter of self preservation and letting go of what I cannot control.”

“I hope these songs encourage you to do the same,” he adds.
