When Twenty One Pilots premiered the video for their new single “Level of Concern,” eagle-eyed fans spotted that drummer Josh Dun was wearing a wedding ring in the clip. Turns out the Skeleton Clique was on to something, as Dun and actress Debby Ryan are indeed officially married.
The couple, who got engaged in December 2018, confirmed their secret marriage in an article for Vogue, which is titled “Actress Debby Ryan and Twenty One Pilots’ Joshua Dun Planned Their Whirlwind Austin Wedding in Just 28 Days.”
The piece then goes on to describe just that, detailing how Dun and Ryan decided 28 days before New Year’s Eve to tie the knot on December 31 in Austin, Texas.
“We began to flirt with the idea of having a destination party celebrating the new decade,” Ryan says. “Then [we] decided in December to get married [in Austin] on New Year’s Eve, and just keep dancing until after the ball dropped.”
Unfortunately, the article doesn’t make any mention on whether or not The Rock made it to the wedding.
It’s been a pretty big few months for the Twenty One Pilots family. In addition to Dun and Ryan’s marriage, frontman Tyler Joseph and his wife, Jenna, welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Rosie, last February.
