Shinedown has premiered a lyric video for the band’s recently released charity single, “Atlas Falls.”

The black-and-white clip features footage of front-line workers amid the COVID-19 pandemic, while frontman Brent Smith‘s words flash across the screen. You can watch it now streaming on YouTube.

Shinedown first released “Atlas Falls,” a song that dates back to the sessions for 2012’s Amaryllis, back in March to raise money for Direct Relief, which supplies personal protective equipment to healthcare workers. The track was previously available exclusively as part of a t-shirt bundle as part of the fundraising campaign, but is now out widely on all digital platforms.

So far, the “Atlas Falls” campaign has raised over $300,000 for Direct Relief, including a $20,000 donation from the Shinedown members themselves.

In a statement, Smith says the response to the song has been “overwhelming.”

“[We] cannot say thank you enough to Shinedown Nation and everyone around the world that has supported Direct Relief during the COVID-19 response,” Smith says. “The faith, the love, and the showing of humanity has just been incredible. ‘Atlas Falls’ is a reminder that we are at our best when we need each other, and the only way through this is together.”

The “Atlas Falls” t-shirt, which will continue to raise money for Direct Relief, is still available via Shinedown’s web store.
