While pretty much every live concert is canceled or postponed this summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic, an in-person rock festival is happening next month in Wisconsin.
The three-day event, which is dubbed the July Mini Fest — though some flyers refer to it as the “Herd Immunity Fest” — takes place July 16-18 at the Q & Z Expo Center in Ringle, Wisconsin.
Bands on the lineup include Static-X, Nonpoint, Flaw, Dope, Bobaflex, Blacktop Mojo and Royal Bliss, as well as Metallica and AC/DC tribute bands.
According to the ticket page on Eventbrite, the venue has a capacity of 10,000, but only 2,500 tickets will be sold in an effort to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
