Incubus premieres acoustic, quarantined version of “Agoraphobia”

Credit: Julian SchratterIncubus has premiered an acoustic version of the band’s song, “Agoraphobia.”

The performance, which you can watch now streaming on YouTube, was recorded remotely with the band members in quarantine. With the video, Incubus is raising money for Feeding America.

“Agoraphobia” seems like a particularly apt song for the times, given that the title refers the anxiety disorder that can make you fear public spaces or leaving your house. In the chorus, frontman Brandon Boyd sings, “I wanna stay inside for good.”

The original “Agoraphobia” appears on Incubus’ album A Crow Left of the Murder…, which was released in 2004.

Back in April, Incubus released a new EP called Trust Fall (Side B), featuring five new songs. The group’s most recent full-length effort is 2017’s 8.
