The Pretty Reckless notches fifth number-one radio & ‘Billboard’ single with “Death by Rock and Roll”

Fearless RecordsThe Pretty Reckless is back at number one.

The band’s latest single, “Death by Rock and Roll,” has reached the top spot on Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock Songs and Mediabase Active Rock airplay charts. That marks the fifth time Taylor Momsen and company have conquered both rankings; the outfit is already the first female-led act to notch back-to-back number-one singles at Active Rock.

“Death by Rock and Roll” dropped in May, and is the first preview of The Pretty Reckless’ upcoming fourth studio album.

“‘Death by Rock And Roll’ signifies the start of a new era for the band,” says Momsen. “We couldn’t be more thankful at the reaction from all the fans and support we’ve seen over the last few months.”

“This is only the beginning and we can’t wait for everyone to hear the new album,” she adds. “I think people will be surprised.”

The Pretty Reckless’ most recent effort is 2016’s Who You Selling For, which features the singles “Take Me Down,” “Oh My God” and “Back to the River.”
