Noah Weiland leaves band also featuring sons of Slash & Robert Trujillo

S208RecordsSuspect208 is down one famous rock star son.

The band made headlines late last year with its lineup, which included Noah Weiland, London Hudson and Tye Trujillo —  the sons of the late Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland, Guns N’ Roses shredder Slash and Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, respectively. However, Noah has since left the band.

The news of the younger Weiland’s departure was revealed by a Suspect208 Instagram post announcing that the band is looking for a new singer. The group also plans to put out a statement regarding the situation.

Meanwhile, if you think you have the chops to front Suspect208, you can submit an audition tape consisting of a cover of Led Zeppelin‘s “Black Dog,” along with a list of three musical influences. Being the offspring of a famous rocker isn’t required, but you do need to be a Los Angeles resident aged 18-24.

Suspect208 has so far released two songs, “All Black” and “Long Awaited.”
