Blink-182 is “about 60 percent through” new album, says Travis Barker

ABCBlink-182 is “about 60 percent through” a new album, says Travis Barker.

The drummer revealed the news on Spotify’s Rock This podcast, adding that the upcoming record will feature collaborations with Grimes, Pharrell Williams and Lil Uzi Vert.

“There’s a lot of cool stuff,” Barker said of the album. “There’s a song with Grimes right now that’s really, really cool that I love. There’s a song with Uzi that’s really, really cool that we did with Pharrell.”

Barker described the Uzi collaboration as a “punk, kind of like reggae feeling song.”

“It’s not like Blink’s making a rap song or anything,” he said. “It’s, like, bringing Uzi over to our world.”

Blink-182’s most recent album is 2019’s Nine.

Barker, meanwhile, has been his usual busy self, collaborating with artists including Machine Gun Kelly and Trippie Redd.
