Thursday, the record label Clouds Hill tweeted out a video teasing a project called La Realidad De Los Sueños — Spanish for “The Reality of Dreams.” The tweet was also tagged with #TheMarsVolta, leading fans to theorize that the beloved band, which has been inactive for nearly 10 years, could be returning with new music.

While that isn’t exactly the case, what we do have is pretty impressive. La Realidad De Los Sueños is an 18-LP box set featuring every one of The Mars Volta’s six studio albums on vinyl, plus the 2002 EP Tremulant. Additionally, the collection includes various unreleased material.

La Realidad De Los Sueños is literally ‘the reality of dreams’ for the numerous The Mars Volta fans all around the world,” reads a description of the box set. “It not only contains the band’s whole studio discography but also some true treasures like Landscape Tantrums, unreleased material from the De-Loused in the Comatorium sessions and a photo-book with exclusive behind-the-scenes shots.”

The package costs a hefty $479, and is available to pre-order now via CloudsHillShop.com.
