P.O.D. announces full-album concert stream series, ‘Satellite Over Southtown’

Credit: Kevin Baldes P.O.D. has announced a three-part concert streaming series dubbed Satellite Over Southtown.

The first two installments, airing May 13 and May 27, will feature full album performances of 2001’s Satellite and 1999’s The Fundamental Elements of Southtown, respectively. The triple-platinum Satellite, which spawned the hit singles “Alive” and “Youth of the Nation,” celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.

The third stream, premiering June 10, will feature a greatest hits set along with performances of B-sides and rarities.

“As we navigate through the new norm of live performances, it’s a great feeling knowing we can still somehow connect with our fans and friends who have supported us all of these years,” says frontman Sonny Sandoval. “The idea of fans around the world, online together watching us is pretty amazing!”

Ahead of the series premiere, P.O.D. will take part in a virtual Q&A session with fans. That takes place April 13.

Satellite Over Southtown will stream via the platform Mandolin. Visit BoxOffice.Mandolin.com for all ticket info.
