ABC/Randy HolmesShinedown has premiered the video for the piano version of the band’s hit single, “GET UP.”
The visual reflects the stripped-down nature of the recording, and finds the band members sitting around a piano being played by bassist Eric Bass, whose battle with depression inspired the song’s message. You can watch it now on YouTube.
The original “GET UP” appears on Shinedown’s new album ATTENTION ATTENTION, and reached number one on Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock Songs chart, as well as the top 25 on the Alternative Songs tally.
Shinedown is busy on the road this spring and summer touring in support of ATTENTION ATTENTION, between the current, intimate “An Evening With” run and a full-scale U.S. outing launching in June.
The band also just announced a fall headlining tour, kicking off in September.
