ABC/Randy HolmesSlipknot has announced No. 9 Iowa Whiskey, a signature craft spirit created in collaboration with the Iowa-based Cedar Ridge Distillery.
“Slipknot and Cedar Ridge Distillery — two groups of people born and raised in Iowa, and committed to quality and hard work,” says percussionist M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan in a statement.
“We collaborated on No. 9 Whiskey, which in addition to Iowa corn, gets some extra spice from its rye content,” Clown adds. “I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Live life, and always be safe.”
The 90-proof whiskey will officially launch August 10, and will be available on Slipknot’s North American Knotfest Roadshow tour, which kicks off July 26 in Mountain View, California. For more info, visit SlipknotWhiskey.com.
