Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Dave Matthews Band among “Forbes'” highest-paid celebrities

ABC/Randy HolmesMetallica, Guns N’ Roses and Dave Matthews Band are all included on the 2019 Forbes Celebrity 100 list, which ranks the world’s highest-paid stars and entertainers.

The “Enter Sandman” metallers are in at #30 on the list with $68.5 million earned over the past year, while the reunited “Welcome to the Jungle” rockers raked in $44 million, good enough for #71 on the tally. Meanwhile, DMB ranks at #92 with $39 million.

The Eagles are the highest-paid rock act on the Celebrity 100, coming it at #8 with $100 million. The highest-paid musician is Taylor Swift, who is also #1 on the entire Celebrity 100 list. The 29-year-old pop star earned a total of $185 million over the past year.
