The Akron, Ohio duo has teamed up with Funny or Die to create a parody video of those celebrity-hosted MasterClass courses, only instead of teaching you the secrets of their trade, they mainly talk about how rich they are.

“Every song on a record is trying to accomplish something,” Dan Auerbach says while strumming an acoustic guitar. “That song in particular was trying to get me a new pool.”

Meanwhile, Patrick Carney battles with an inferiority complex about being a drummer.

“It means a lot to be a drummer,” he says. “One of the things it means is that you’re not a good guitar player, or as good as someone else that you know, who’s in your band.”

At the end of the video, Carney promises that you’ll be able to “write music like the pros” if you take their course. “Unless you’re not naturally gifted like us,” Auerbach adds. “Then we can’t really help you.”

The Black Keys released their new album “Let’s Rocklast month. They’ll launch a U.S. tour in support of the record in September.
