Perry Farrell, Billy Idol & more to perform at Dave Navarro & Billy Morrison’s Above Ground charity concert

ABC/Lou RoccoJane’s Addiction‘s Dave Navarro and Billy Idol guitarist Billy Morrison have announced the lineup for their upcoming 2019 Above Ground charity concert –and it includes a few of their band mates.

The bill includes Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell and Billy Idol himself, as well as Bush‘s Gavin Rossdale, MC5‘s Wayne Kramer and longtime David Bowie keyboardist Mike Garson.

Other guest artists include Juliette Lewis, Steve Vai, The Cult‘s Billy Duffy and Billy Idol guitarist Steve Stevens. Magic Mike and True Blood actor Joe Manganiello will host the evening.

During the concert, the guests will join Navarro and Morrison for performances of two iconic albums: The Stooges‘ 1969 self-titled debut, and Bowie’s 1972 classic The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.

Above Ground 2019 takes place September 16 at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles. It will raise money for mental health treatment, with proceeds going to MusiCares, the charitable arm of the Recording Academy.
