The night was filmed for an upcoming TV concert special titled Grammy Salute to Music Legends, which will premiere Friday, October 18 on PBS.

Black Sabbath members Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler attended the ceremony, as did former drummer Bill Ward. In addition to receiving the award, the metal legends were honored with a performance by Rival Sons, who played a medley of “War Pigs” and “Paranoid.”

Rival Sons were previously handpicked by Ozzy Osbourne to open for Sabbath’s final world tour, which concluded February 2017.

Grammy Salute to Music Legends also includes tributes to fellow Lifetime Achievement Award honorees George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic, Julio Iglesias, and Dionne Warwick, among others.
