ABC/Randy HolmesCorey Taylor became the living embodiment of the Spider-Man pointing meme when he met a fan that looked exactly like him. Well, exactly like his Slipknot mask.
At a meet-and-greet event, one fan came dressed head-to-toe in Taylor’s on-stage outfit for Slipknot’s .5: The Gray Chapter album cycle complete with the mask and the bulletproof vest. A clearly impressed Taylor then asked the fan if he could sign his stomach, which he of course did.
Video of the interaction was posted by the Slipknot fan-page Slipknot Worldwide. It seems to be taken some time ago, as Taylor’s hair is short in the video, as opposed to the long locks he’s sporting now.
In present-day Slipknot happenings, the masked metallers have been on the road touring in support of their new album We Are Not Your Kind, which was released in August. The group launches a South American tour in November.
