Mike Patton band tetema announces new album, ‘Necroscape’

Ipecac RecordingsAnother one of Mike Patton‘s many, many bands is releasing a new album.

Tetema, which is a collaboration between the Faith No More frontman and Australian electro-acoustic artist Anthony Pateras, will drop their sophomore effort, Necroscape, on April 3.

The first single from Necroscape is titled “Haunted on the Uptake,” and is available now for digital download. Pateras describes the track as “like The Melvins‘ tour van broke down in the Balkans and instead of going home, they decide to open a mountain laboratory dedicated to possible hybrids of Rembetika and hardcore.”

The debut tetema album, Geocidal, was released in 2015.

Meanwhile, Patton will be busy with a variety of his other projects in 2020, including Mr. Bungle‘s reunion dates in February and Faith No More’s European tour this summer.
