Papa Roach spotlights fans with new “People of Papa Roach” series

The first video is a story from a fan named Irene. In a video posted to YouTube, frontman Jacoby Shaddix reads a letter from Irene, in which she describes being a lifelong Papa Roach fan.

Irene also reveals that she suffers from depression, and even attempted suicide before her brother stopped her. The very next day, she says, Papa Roach released their 2017 album, Crooked Teeth, which inspired her to keep living.

“We get letters from our fans every day about how our music has effected their lives,” Papa Roach says. “We want to use our platform to share your stories and continue to inspire others.”

Papa Roach is currently on tour in Europe in support of the group’s latest album, 2019’s Who Do You Trust? They’ll return to the U.S. in April to play on Five Finger Death Punch‘s upcoming tour.
