Credit: Travis Shinn Killswitch Engage formed over 20 years ago, and to mark the milestone, the Massachusetts metallers have launched a comprehensive timeline detailing their two decades as a band.
The timeline begins with Killswitch forming in 1999 and continues through 2020, all while marking significant events along the way. Some of the stops on the timeline include album releases, important shows and Grammy nominations, as well as that time guitarist Adam “Adam D” Dutkiewicz was a contestant on The Price Is Right in 2015.
“I’ll never forget when we first started touring and I had to quit my day job to give it a go,” says Adam D. “I remember thinking, ‘Just try it for a year, that way you’ll have no regrets when it doesn’t work out, and you can go find a new job.’ Twenty-plus years later, here we are, and it’s been an amazing ride.”
