The Chicago metallers have announced that they’ll be putting their spin on the hit 1993 Sting single “If I Ever Lose My Faith in You.” The cover, along with an accompanying video, will premiere this Friday, September 11.

Along with “If I Ever Lose My Faith in You,” David Draiman and company have recorded several other covers, including their hit, Grammy-nominated version of the Simon & Garfunkel classic “The Sound of Silence.” Disturbed’s also released covers of “Land of Confusion” by Genesis, “Shout” by Tears for Fears, “Midlife Crisis” by Faith No More and “Living After Midnight” by Judas Priest.

Disturbed’s most recent album is 2018’s Evolution. They had planned to tour the U.S. this past summer to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their 2000 debut The Sickness, but the outing was postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
