Epic RecordsChevelle has announced a new album called NIRATIAS.
The ninth studio effort from the band — now made up of solely brothers Pete and Sam Loeffler following the departure of bassist Dean Bernardini in 2019 — will arrive on March 5.
The lead single from NIRATIAS is called “Self Destructor,” which seems to make references to the COVID-19 pandemic with the lyrics “It’s time, or self destruct/They don’t care what the science says/They don’t want to talk.” You can download it now via digital outlets.
NIRATIAS is the follow-up to 2016’s The North Corridor. More recently, Chevelle released the 2018 rarities compilation 12 Bloody Spies.
