Fearless RecordsTom Morello guests on a new song from The Pretty Reckless, “And So It Went.”
The track, which is available now via digital outlets, is a fitting one to feature the Rage Against the Machine guitarist, as it reflects the world’s “state of civil unrest.”
“As a songwriter, I feel like I’m not here to preach,” says frontwoman Taylor Momsen. “I use music to observe and communicate what I see around me.”
“This song felt like the perfect storm for Tom Morello to join in and rip the sound waves apart with his guitar,” she adds. “It was more than a pleasure having him add his unique and defining sound to the song.”
“And So It Went” will appear on the upcoming Pretty Reckless album, Death By Rock and Roll, which is due out February 12. It’s the fourth song to be released from the record, following the lead single and title track, “25,” and the Halloween-themed “Broomsticks.”
