Report: Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s marriage now annulled

Jason LaVeris/FilmMagicBush frontman Gavin Rossdale‘s previous marriage to Gwen Stefani has officially been annulled by the Catholic church, according to US Weekly.

“Gwen was told the decision was made by the Vatican tribunal,” a source tells the celebrity magazine. “She will be receiving the notification in writing in the next few weeks, but it’s official.”

The annulment decision is said to be very important to Stefani — for years, the rumor’s been that the No Doubt singer hadn’t yet gotten married to her longtime boyfriend, country star Blake Shelton, because she was seeking an annulment from the Catholic church.

“It was a huge relief for Gwen because she wanted to get married by her priest and have the marriage recognized by the Catholic church,” the US Weekly source says.

Stefani and Rossdale married in 2002 and split in 2015. They share three children.
