Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love’s former home on sale for $7.5 million

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports that the 117-year-old Queen Anne-style home in the Denny-Blaine neighborhood of Seattle went on the market at the beginning of this month.  The home is more than 8,000 square feet and includes four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a wine cellar.  It’s set on a three-quarters of an acre property with views of Lake Washington.

The real estate listing for the property makes no mention of the home’s former owners, describing it only as “a once in a lifetime opportunity!”

According to Curbed, Kurt and Courtney bought the home in early 1994 for $1.249 million; Courtney sold the home to a trust in 1997 for just under $3 million.  They lived there until Cobain’s death by suicide in April of that same year.
