During a recent taping of Austin City Limits, the 17-year-old phenom wore a shirt featuring a collage of a variety of different metal acts, including Mr. Zombie. The iconic shock-rocker posted a photo of Eilish’s outfit on his Instagram, along with a shout-out to the young singer.
“@billieeilish rocking another custom Zombie shirt,” he wrote in the caption. “Rock on!”
Another artist featured in the collage, Type O Negative, also shared their Eilish enthusiasm.
“Billie Eilish is certainly a unique and bad a** superstar who absolutely walks her own path,” the Brooklyn metallers wrote in a Facebook post. “How awesome is it to see the Type O support!!”
Eilish’s love for metal also extends to her own merch. On her online store, she’s selling a beanie featuring her name stitched in a characteristically indecipherable metal font.
