Watch Twenty One Pilots' Tyler Joseph record stripped-down "The Hype" in Berlin

ABC/Image Group LATwenty One Pilots have shared a new, stripped-down version of “The Hype,” a track off the duo’s latest album, Trench.

Frontman Tyler Joseph laid down the new recording at a studio in Berlin the same day of TOP’s performance at Lollapalooza Berlin in September. You can listen to the track, and watch footage from the session, now via YouTube.

The new “The Hype” is part of Twenty One Pilots’ ongoing “Location Sessions” series, which has featured alternate renditions of songs recorded at different places around the globe.

Twenty One Pilots is currently touring the U.S. in continued support of Trench. The outing continues Thursday in Uncasville, Connecticut.
